Sky Deep ( previously known as Sky Disco ) is an interdisciplinary artist with sights and sounds that deliver messages of social awakenings, community action and love. She has performed throughout the USA and Central Europe. Additionally, her solo performances have been showcased on VH1, NBC and UPN. Today, Sky fuses conscious, socially aware and sensual content to construct an interactive installations that are uplifting and urgent, all while keeping the fun alive. She is a freelance guitarist, has theater conservatory training, is a certified audio engineer by the Institute of Audio Research and continually trains in her craft today. Sky works behind the scenes in the film and TV industry. The Disco in her name does not refer to the genre of disco music. It's really all about the attitude. Funky, free, fun, loving and open. The term disco reminds us to enjoy life to the fullest and cherish each moment. Sky's mission: to travel the world entertaining masses and empowering people to move toward their wildest dreams.
Sky “Disco” is an Entertainment Industry professional having worked in the industry for over 20 years. She has just expanded her workshops to an international experience with the International Girls Camp on Music and Equality in Germany for 2014. There, she will be working with girls from Germany, Sweden, Turkey and Croatia. Sky’s range of experience includes but is not limited to: Music, Film and Event production and post production; Musician; Songwriter; Speaker; Stage Performer; and Marketing/publicity. Founder of Reveller Records and artist-in-residence for University Settlement in NYC, she is also a teaching artist (Willie Mae Rock Camp, Music for All Seasons).
